The ITA has released their rankings for men’s tennis in college sports, and the Oregon Ducks are one of seven teams in the Pac-12 to be in the top one hundred in the ITA rankings that were recently released. They are at No. 72 and looking to climb into the top 50. Unlike in basketball, the Pac-12 is arguably the toughest conference in tennis with four teams in the top 25- including No. 1 USC. Stanford and UCLA are No. 6 and No. 9 respectively, while California is at No. 14. The Huskies are on the cusp of a top 25 ranking at No. 26, and the Arizona Wildcats sit at No. 55; 17 spots ahead of the Ducks.

The men’s team’s dual schedule starts on the 20th of January on Friday, a day after both basketball teams face off against the USC Trojans. The No. 72 Ducks will take on two unranked foes, Portland and Montana State, in a doubleheader. Robin Cambier and Jeff Mullen will lead the way and were 9-1 as a doubles team in the fall. The even will start at 5:00 PM PT in Eugene, Oregon, and the Ducks will likely have a strong showing.
