LaMichael James and Bucs NFL Draft

Just in case you did not know this- and you probably don’t know or don’t care- I also write for the FanSided Tampa Bay Buccaneers site “The Pewter Plank” as a staff writer.

Yesterday, I wrote a post explaining why the Bucs should take Morris Clairborne over Trent Richardson with the fifth pick.

Now, what the heck do two SEC superstars and an NFC South team have to do with the Oregon Ducks? In that post, I suggested that the Bucs take a look at LaMichael James and think about adding him as the No. 2 back to help former Duck LeGarrette Blount out. That would give them two elusive backs, and a chance for LaMichael James to receive the right amount of carries he needs to succeed. The offensive line needs work, but it looks like a good situation for both teams.

So readers, what do you think? Is LaMichael James a fit with the Bucs? Have your say in the comments section and vote on the poll. Later today, I have a special guest on for the site’s weekly Q&A post on the Oregon Ducks draft prospects. Including the one and only LaMichael James.

Is LaMichael James a good fit with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
