Eddie Vanderdoes could visit Oregon

Four-star defensive tackle recruit Eddie Vanderdoes is the fourth best player at his position and the 32nd best recruit in the country, with Scout.com rating him as a five-star recruit. The Oregon Ducks have already sent the valued DT an offer, and he is considering a visit to the campus for Junior Day.

Oregon has always been interested in Eddie Vanderdoes, and the California recruit received his dream offer on the 6th of March. However, the California Golden Bears are also in the thick of the race for the top five recruit in the state, and Vanderdoes was impressed with their training facility and got along well with their defensive line coach.

Earlier this month, Eddie Vanderdoes received an offer from a different Pac-12 squad; Arizona. He is considering their offer as well as offers from Boise State and the big boys in ‘Bama. Rivals.com is especially high on Vanderdoes and rate him as the 21st best recruit in the country.

Right now, Eddie Vanderdoes would be a huge addition for the Oregon Ducks on the interior of the defensive line in 2013. He can also play at defensive end in a Robaire Smith type role as an SDE in a 3-4. He fits this team perfectly, and it seems like a match made in heaven due to the mutual interest in both sides. Vanderdoes would love to play for one of the best teams on the west coast, and the Ducks would obviously love to add one of the best five tackles in the nation.
