The Oregon Ducks will take on the LSU Tigers in the opening NIT game for both teams this evening at 6:30 PM PT. The Tigers are the No. 6 seed, while the Oregon Ducks are underrated and at the No. 3 seed. Staff writer Mike Vamosi broke down the entire NIT, and he chose the Oregon Ducks as the champions. Will last season’s postseason success for the Ducks help them navigate the NIT? Dana Altman isn’t a stranger to the NIT making his third appearance in this tourney in the past five years (2008/2009 second round losses at Creighton).
