According to Scout, touted tight end recruit Christian Morgan will name his top team soon. The Plano, Texas TE is the 11th best player at his position in the 2013 recruiting class and is viewed as one of the top 250 recruits overall.

According to Scout.com, the Oregon Ducks are among the teams interested in Christian Morgan, but watch for the Huskies’ interest in the top 40 recruit out of Texas. They are among the top six teams in the race, with Cal, Mississippi, Miami, Baylor, and Arkansas also in the mix. In fact, Arkansas and Baylor are regarded as the two front-runners for Christian Morgan, but the Huskies are considered to be a team on the rise for the top TE recruit.

Christian Morgan is 6’4″ and weighs in at 244 pounds, and he also has offers from Iowa State, SMU, Missouri, Colorado, Texas Tech, Tulsa, and Vandy. Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Stanford are all teams that have interest in Christian Morgan. It would be a huge even for Washington to end up at the top of the list for a top TE recruit in Texas, especially since so many teams are after him. Morgan just visited Baylor a few days ago, and it will be interesting to see if Jim Gush can help keep Christian Morgan in the state of Texas.
