Oregon baseball (20-9, 8-4) went to Los Angeles and took two of three games against UCLA (21-7, 8-4) who was ranked 4, 5 and 7th depending on the NCAA baseball poll that you go by. The Ducks took the Thursday opener 6-2 and won again 8-3 Friday night before falling on Saturday afternoon 8-6 to the Bruins at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Today the successful weekend resulted in a rise in the national polls for Oregon. The biggest jump came in the Baseball America polls which the Ducks jumped from 22nd to 16th, they improved from 20th to 18th in the Perfect Game and remained 17th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Polls. Complete polls for the three can be found here at Baseball America, Perfect Game and USA Today/ESPN.

Breaking down the conference by each poll here is how the Pac12 did, Baseball America (Arizona 4th, Stanford 6th, UCLA 17th and Arizona State 21st), Perfect Game (Arizona 6th, Stanford 7th, UCLA 10th, Arizona State 22nd, Oregon State 26th, Southern Cal 36th, California 39th and Washington 40th) and in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 (Stanford 5th, UCLA 11th, Arizona 12th, Oregon 17th and Oregon State 23rd).

The team returns home tonight at 6 p.m. to PK Park for a two-game series against San Francisco with game two tomorrow at Noon. This weekend the Ducks will be at Sunken Diamond to take on the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto, Calif.
