Oregon has extended an offer to another running back on Sunday. This time, the school targets Derrick Green, a four-star recruit from Richmond, Virginia.

The 6-foot, 215-pound back has played at Hermitage High School. There are a few videos that show highlights of his sophomore year and junior year. It’s been reported that ESPN will be showing a Hermitage high school football game against Fork Union on Saturday, August 25th. It will likely be a part of a weekend marathon of high school football games on all the ESPN networks, which they usually show just prior to the college football season starting.

ESPN ranks the prospect as 83rd in the ESPNU Top 150 and 64th nationally, sixth in the position on Rivals. 247sports has him ranked at 119th nationally and 12th in the position.

It’s the 28th offer given to the back. Ohio State has been a favorite for months, but recently Green has openly said that Clemson is his favorite. Virginia Tech is also another highlighted school, according to 247sports. Other offers from Pac-12 schools include USC, UCLA, and Washington. Some other schools include Arkansas, Auburn, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, and South Carolina.
