Daily Recruiting Update: 4/27

A quick recap of everything recruiting in football and men’s basketball in the last 24 hours. We take a look at what Oregon has done, and update some of their targets.

  • Dual-threat QB Anthony Jennings has said that he would like to get evaluated by a number of SEC schools (such as Florida and Alabama), Ohio State, Florida State, and Texas. He currently has 16 offers, Oregon has yet to offer him.
  • Pro-style QB Wes Lunt committed to Oklahoma State on February 1st. He has been named the starter for the upcoming season according to head coach Mike Gundy. Oregon never did give an offer to the quarterback.
  • Wide receiver Steven Mitchell has high interest in both USC and Oregon, who may be close to offering him according to 247sports. He has received an offer from Boston College lately.
  • Cornerback Derek Babiash has received an offer from Oklahoma. He has two other offers from Washington State and San Diego State. He remains a target for Oregon.
  • Tight end Josh McNeil will be visited by Ohio State. Oregon has reached out to him for an offer.
