Craig Lee, a running back from California, becomes the latest player to be given an offer today from the Oregon football team. It’s the 39th offer given by the Ducks.

The 6-foot, 190-pound back is coming off of a huge junior year for the Redlands Terriers. He had 9.08 yards per carry and scored 15 touches on the season. Two more touchdowns were scored in the air, catching 14 balls overall for 201 yards.

Lee is a four-star recruit on many recruiting services, except 247sports who list him as a three-star. Rivals has him listed as the highest by position at 22nd overall.

Notre Dame also gave an offer to Lee today. He also has received an offer from Washington, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State, and UCLA. According to 247sports, the Ducks, Irish, and Huskies are of higher interest to Lee.

Here is a video clip that features some of Lee’s highlights from his junior season. The first thing that’s noticeable is breakaway speed. Once he makes his cut, there’s a burst of speed that makes it hard to catch him. He also stays on his feet well after taking the initial contact. This makes him an absolute threat on screen plays, and it was surprising to see him wide open so much in the highlight video. What could make him even more special is the ability to make more cuts to the inside on long runs.
