The Fresno State Bulldogs visit Autzen this Saturday to take on the 4th ranked Oregon Ducks.  Fresno State is coming off a 37-10 win over Weber State last Saturday, September 1st.  There are three offensive players on Fresno State that the Ducks need to be aware of for this game.

Junior Derek Carr returns as the starter at quarterback.  Carr is the younger brother of former Fresno State star and number one overall NFL draft pick, David Carr.  Carr is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds.  He’s more of a pocket passer who threw for 3,544 yards with 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season in thirteen games.  Carr also rushed for three touchdowns.  In the season opener against Weber State, Carr completed twenty of twenty-five passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns.

Robbie Rouse gets the majority of the carries from the running back position.  The leading rusher for Fresno State last season, Rouse ran the ball 329 times for 1,549 yards and thirteen touchdowns.  He added 32 catches for 228 yards with one score as well in thirteen games.  The 5-foot-7 and 190 pound back had a big opening game where he rushed for 123 yards on 22 carries with two scores.

Redshirt freshman Davante Adams introduced himself to the college football world with an impressive showing last week.  The 6-foot-2 and 200 pound receiver from Palo Alto High School caught seven passes for 118 yards with two touchdowns in the win over Weber State.  Adams was a two-star recruit out of high school according to rivals.com who also played basketball.
