Oregon Football: Three Golden Eagles on Offense

The Oregon Ducks play their third straight home game this Saturday when they take on Tennessee Tech at Autzen Stadium.  The Golden Eagles are members of the Ohio Valley Conference where they are currently tied for first place.  This is the first ever meeting between the schools.

The Golden Eagles are led by senior quarterback Tre Lamb.  Lamb is one of the smaller quarterbacks you will find as he stands 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds.  Lamb completed 24 of 35 passes in Tennessee Tech’s 41-31 victory over Hampton to begin the season.  He threw for 339 yards and four touchdowns in the game.  He followed up that performance by completing 18 of 26 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-14 win over North Greenville.

The biggest threat on the ground for the Ducks will be senior running back, Adam Urbano.  Urbano stands at 5-foot-8 and 195 pounds.  Urbano rushed for 158 yards and one score in the win against Hampton.  He added 122 rushing yards with two touchdowns in the win over North Greenville.

Da’Rick Rogers is a wide receiver that has played against Oregon in the past.  Rogers was a member of the University of Tennessee when the Ducks played them two years ago.  During the Ducks 48-13 victory, Rogers carried the ball once for 21 yards.

The junior had three catches for 75 yards with one touchdown in the first victory.  In the win against North Greenville, Rogers had five catches for 88 yards and another score.  He has been the biggest vertical threat for Tech even though he has only been targeted eleven times all season.

The game between the Ducks and Golden Eagles is set for 12:00 pm PT this Saturday.
