Oregon Ducks Football: Does Fiesta Bowl Feature Best Matchup?

Oregon will be headed to the Fiesta Bowl as projected about a week ago. We’ll have extensive coverage and thoughts on this game throughout the month, but first: is this the matchup you wanted? Would you have rather seen Oklahoma win the Big 12 and play the Ducks?

Brian: Actually, I would have rather seen Oregon play the Sooners. They have a good team, only losing to Kansas State and Notre Dame all this season, and I would have liked to see how the Ducks would have matched up with a better defense again.

Mike: Personally, I wish that we could say farewell to bowl tie-ins and let the bowls take who they want if they could agree on some way to do so. Seeing Oregon play a Florida or a different SEC foe would be more interesting but I do find K-State to be intriguing since I’ve watched them on TV a good amount during the season.

Raymond:  I think Oregon-Kansas State is going to be a great game. Obviously we wanted Oregon in the  BCS Championship but I really like this matchup of high scoring offenses. I’d rather not see Oklahoma at all.

Ricky: This is the match-up I wanted. This was “suppose” to be this year’s BCS National Championship game, but both teams lost a game. Not quite sure yet if their game will be super entertaining, but I would rather see the Ducks play the Wildcats than the Sooners.
