Oregon Basketball has had quite the season so far. Hard to believe they are tied for 1st Place in the Pac 12. The Ducks lead the Conference in Turnovers. For another perspective as we head into Washington week Matt Daddy from Addicted to Quack asks a simple question and it looks like Dominic Artis is a no go again this week with a foot injury.

The NFL Draft is not too far off, it will be here before we can blink.

The planets must be perfectly aligned because ESPN NFL Draft Gurus Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr both picked the same four Pac 12 players to be taken in the first round, albeit to different teams. McShay projects Oregon DE/OLB Dion Jordan to be picked fifth by the Detroit Lions, while Kiper has Jordan going ninth to the New York Jets.

On a side note, ESPN’s Mark Schlabach picks in his Way To Early Top 25 that Stanford(not Oregon) will face Alabama for the 2014 National Title. Much of his reasoning is due to the coaching change.

Finally, it was quite the full court shot for Lewis Palmer’s(Monument, Colorado) Anna Olson.  The Junior’s shot was a two pointer because the ball bounced inside the three point line before hitting the backboard and falling in. Not sure if any recruiters noticed it, but it was across the court and in the basket off one bounce.
