Oregon Baseball: Jeff Gold, Ryan Hambright Make Sportscenter Top 10 Plays at #2

It was supposed to be a routine play from the pitcher to first base for the out, but the ball got stuck in Staring Pitcher Jeff Gold‘s glove, he improvised – the ball and glove followed each other through the air, and First Baseman Ryan Hambright caught the ball for the out.  Oregon ended up winning the game 4-1, and have now won three in a row.

A Routine play was anything but, and is likely one of the Plays of the Year for Oregon.

The Play was on ESPN This Morning in the Top 10 Plays, it came in at #2. Oregon return to the field to face #2 Vanderbilt This Weekend at PK Park.
