Watching a Spring Football Game will not tell you a lot about the team heading into the upcoming season.

If you were at the Oregon Spring game, you came away with some Answers. 1, the offense, which racked up a ton of yards on 70+ plays and scored 65 points will likely survive without Barner and company. 2, there are more questions than answers when it comes to who will be the backup quarterback behind Sophomore Marcus Mariota, both jeff Locke and Jake Rodrigues played ok to start, then seemed more comfortable as the Spring scrimmage went on. I would give the nod to Rodrigues from what I saw.

Then there was the defense, who picked up a whole 10 points (vs the offense and 65). They did have quite a few three and outs, which amounted to one point….each.

Athlon Sports has their thoughts on the Oregon Spring game, as well as other action from around the country, including Pac 12 Spring contests from Stanford, Oregon State and Arizona). Now all eyes turn to Fall Camp and the first game of the season.
