CBS Sports: A Look At Analysts Preseason Top 25 Picks – Oregon Average: 4

I guess 4 is putting it nicely in this one. In what looks like a slot machine gone all college football – it looks like you’re one away from the big jackpot, but if CBS Sports analysts have their way the Ducks won’t – who really believes these guys anyway. 🙂

Oregon is picked as high as 2nd and as low as 7th(Jerry Palm) in a guestimate poll released by the crew of CBS Sports. When it comes to preseason rankings I look at them as pure entertainment – let the teams speak with their play on the field. I had to share this one however.

It seems that a lot of teams are high on the Stanford Cardinal and that seems to be where the respect for the Pac 12 is going, but that will be settled in November. With the possibility of Texas A&M Quarterback Johnny Manziel being suspended for Autographgate you can clearly see they have taken a tumble in this Preseason Poll.

It appears to me that the Top 5 in this jumbled up mess may be Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon and Stanford – but don’t ask me the order outside of #1.

Oregon kicks off the 2013 season in a few weeks on August 31st vs Nicholls State (1pm, Fox Sports 1) inside Autzen Stadium.
