Oregon Basketball’s incoming class has taken a hit. According to DuckTerritory.com incoming player Christiano Felicio will not be cleared by the NCAA to play for the Ducks(or anyone else) since he had signed a professional contract in his past while in high school and playing in Brazil.

The story goes on to say that 6 foor 9 inch 245 pound Center has already signed with Clube De Regatas De Flamingo in the New Basketball Brazil League with the hope of entering the NBA Draft in 2015.

Last minute roster changes seem to be the way of Oregon Basketball the last few years and Head Coach Dana Altman has always made the best of the situation, even if it means picking up a player for one year like recent NBA Draft pick Arsalan Kazemi. Now with an open availability on the roster (Felicio was expected to compete for playing time at Center), the time is now for the Oregon coaching staff to get to work to see who, if anyone is available to fill the hole.

DuckTerritory says Oregon will enter the 2013-14 season with 12 scholarship players and one available ride to offer this summer should a player become available Oregon sees fit in offering. With four seniors on scholarship next season the Ducks will have five offers to extend and accept.

The Ducks tip off in the Armed Forces Classic  (ESPN2) vs Georgetown on November 8th.
