Oregon vs Nicholls: 3 Things We Should See

facebooktwitterreddit

In getting ready for the game this morning I wanted to let you know we will have coverage here at AutzenZoo, before, during, and after the Ducks and the Colonels. Now,  for those who don’t know me – I have covered the Ducks for a year now – this will be my second covering football and the rest of the Fall Sports. So, what can you expect tomorrow?

1. Marcus Mariota will pick up where he left off in 2012 and throw(or run) for at least three touchdowns(maybe more). Keep in mind that he won’t likely be in the game for more than a half – if that. I am going conservative here and am trying my best to give the opponent some respect.

2. Ifo Ekpre Olomu will get a pick. With Oregon’s speed on Defense I’m sure Nicholls State has some sort of scheme, but it can only work for so long. I don’t see the Defensive Starters on the field for much past the first half either – so again, slightly conservative here.
3. For the game Oregon will have over 600+ yards on Offense. All the weapons the Ducks have, and if Thomas Tyner gets to see the field(from what I’ve seen), he could easily have 100 yards on the ground on his own in relief.

Our coverage starts tomorrow at Noon (gametime 1pm on Fox Sports 1). I will also be posting to my Instagram and Twitter accounts(which will be shared on the AutzenZoo Twitter Feed)
