It was quite the afternoon for Mark Helfrich which was capped off by his first road win as Oregon Head Coach. One of the big reasons why was Quarterback Marcus Mariota who had a big day both on the ground and in the air. The Sophomore QB went 14-28 for 199 yards and Three Touchdowns overall.

Oregon Running Back De’Anthony Thomas scored three in the rout and Freshman Rusher Thomas Tyner even got into the act after Dior Mathis had a 97-yard interception almost for a TD, Tyner ran it in on the next play from three yards out.

Oregon played a little sloppy in the first half, but cleaned things up nicely at halftime. 7 of 8 scoring drives were two minutes or less.

The Ducks should maintain their hold on #2 in the Associated Press poll this week. It looks like USC won’t be much to worry about for anyone in the Pac 12 this year. The Trojans lost Saturday night to Washington State 10-7 which may have USC Coach Lane Kiffin looking for a job soon.

Up next for Oregon, back to Autzen Stadium Saturday for Tennessee (12:30PM PT, ABC /ESPN /ESPN2)
