Top 25: Week 3 Loaded with Pac 12, B1G Matchups
Will A&M Bring Down #1 Alabama on Saturday?Mandatory Credit: Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports
Taking a look at the matchups for next week outside of the Pac 12/SEC Matchup with Tennessee and Oregon at Autzen Stadium on Saturday I can say that this looks like the first solid weekend of competition in College Football – at least when it comes to the Top 25.
Glancing at ESPN’s Weekly Schedule it appears that no one has it cupcake easy outside of maybe Arizona. My game of the week would have to be UCLA and Nebraska as the Bruins travel East to Memorial Stadium, usually one of the more hostile environments in the Big 10, especially when you have a Husker team ranked in the Top 15 of the Country. Both of these teams have a legitimate shot to represent their respective conferences in Championship games come December.
Another intruguing matchup pits Washington against Illinois. Huskies Quarterback Keith Price has shot out of the gate this season, and he’s healthy and dangerous. You also have an Illini team that is hungry for an upset.
Other Matchups for the week in the Pac 12 include Wisconsin visiting Arizona State and Ohio State travelling to Cal.
One game that is circled on many calendars involves Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M hosting #1 Alabama. Last year we all know what happened. This game could change the entire landscape of College Football for the year as we all know.
The Ducks take on SEC Opponent Tennessee on Saturday 12:30PM PT(ABC/ESPN or ESPN2)
