Oregon Duck De’Anthony Thomas Makes the ‘Twitter 100’

Oregon Running Back De’Anthony Thomas can add his name to another list for 2013. This time it’s in the realm of Social Media – the Sports Illustrated Twitter 100, a list that was put together with CNNSI Sports Reporters and Twitter Followers to come up with a somewhat ‘influential’ list of Sports Personalities.
Thomas makes the list alongside folks like Mark Cuban, Kevin Durant and Larry Fitzgerald. CNNSI praises the Ducks Running Back on his Twitter Style:
"You can always pick out a De’Anthony Thomas tweet from your timeline. The Ducks star uses ALL CAPITAL LETTERS as part of his “MOMBA” persona. Unlike some college athletes who make headlines because of poor choices on social media, Thomas has a genuineness that makes it easy for college football fans to love him."
Of course, the profile is helped I’m sure by being a member of the #2 team in the Country. As of this post Thomas has nearly 63,000 followers on Twitter. He and the Ducks take on the Cal Bears on Saturday Night. (7:30pm, Pac 12 Networks)
