Oregon 55/Cal 16
Oregon and Cal will be remembered for the issue that was the Weather. It created 7 fumbles in the first quarter of action, which did not go so well for the California Golden Bears. Oregon rushed to a 20-0 lead and it was pretty much over from there. Freshman Quarterback Jared Goff in his first visit to Autzen was forgettable. 3/11 for 13 yards. An injury of note was Running Back De’Anthony Thomas who looked as if he tweaked his ankle in the opening kickoff. He did not return to the field, rather the sideline in the second half on crutches. In his postgame press conference Thomas said he ‘rolled’ his right ankle and will see a Doctor on Monday.
Ducks Running Back Bralon Addison picked up the slack running back two Cal punts for Touchdowns averaging 70 yards. The Ducks Beat Cal 55-16.
