The Oregon Ducks have had their way with Bordering Rival Washington for nearly a decade. However the Huskies brings to the game one of the leading rushers in the nation in Bishop Sankey and a healthy Quarterback in Keith Price who can be pretty dangerous through the air. Both Price and Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota are ranked in the Top 10 in Passing Efficiency so far this season.

So what can we expect on Saturday afternoon?

Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota Will Have 350 Yards Passing

This one could be close  of course Washington’s QB could be up there in passing yards as well, but Oregon’s Defense will be feasting on passes from Price throughout the afternoon and I think the Ducks will win some of those battles through the air. The ground may be another story.

Washington Running Back Bishop Sankey Will Have Over 100 Yards Rushing

Of course, Oregon’s Weapons on the Ground Could also be fairly effective. Aside from the Running Game the punt returning on both sides of the ball could be a key. You don’t become the leading rusher in the country if you can’t perform on the field. One battle to watch, among many, will be how the Ducks handle the Husky Ground Game.

Oregon’s Defense Will Pick Off Washington QB Price At Least Twice

Oregon’s D is due for some attention. They are already holding opposition on 3rd down to under 30 percent completions. Now can they step up and take the ball away from Washington’s top playmaker on Offense? I think they can.

Oregon takes on Washington at 1pm PT Saturday on Fox Sports 1.
