Oregon Volleyball vs USC, Trojans Win 10th in a Row Over Ducks in 3 Sets

#1 USC Trojans(16-1) vs Oregon Ducks (10-6)

Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, Oregon

Set 1: USC 23-25

Set 2 USC  25-18

Set 3: USC 26-24 Trojans Win the Match

Oregon played hard but were overpowered by the top team in the Country in the first two sets 25-23 and 25-18.
The usual names of Liz Brenner and Ariana Williams kept Oregon in the game, but Lauren Plum still being out with an
ankle injury may have hurt the Ducks. There is a lot of young promising talent on this Ducks squad including
setter Shellsy Ashen who for the match had 37 assists. Arianna Williams had 13 kills, Finley with 12 and Brenner ended the match with 10.

Oregon was able to get momentum in their favor in Set 3 but in the end USC was too much. The Ducks fell to the Trojans in 3 sets on Sunday at Matthew Knight Arena.
They will likely fall out of the AVCA Coaches Poll this week where they began the season at Number 8 in the nation. There is still
plenty of time for Oregon in the Pac 12 Season. This young talented team needs some time to get some experience and make
a postseason run,
