Two former Oregon Ducks will see the NFL field this weekend, but this time they will face each other. Former Oregon Defensive stars Kiko Alonso and Dion Jordan have started on different paths. Alonso leads the league in tackles with 66, while Jordan has had a slow start in Miami coming off shoulder surgery from last year. However a recent report from the Associated Press seems to think that Jordan will soon get more playing time.

"“I can see myself progressing every week, but I expected more out of myself,” Jordan said. “But it’s still a long season. The more comfortable I get out there, the more reps that I get, the better I’ll end up doing.”"

Both the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are in rebuilding phases. The team from Florida seems to have gotten it wrong in recent years that the team from the North, but the growing pains have been clear for each team. Miami has a leg up on Buffalo who is in the basement of the AFC East at 2-4(Miami is at 3-2 and in 2nd place in the division.)

If you look purely at the numbers Alonso is having a monster season with 66 tackles, 34

assists and 4 interceptions. Jordan has 7 tackles an assist and 1 sack. Both of these players were pivotal to Oregon victories over the last few years. It should be fun this weekend watching two former Duck greats go at it, but this time in the NFL.

Buffalo and Miami take the field on Sunday at 10am PT on CBS.
