In looking at the schedule last week I knew this was a possibility for Oregon. There are not many marquee matchups this week in College Football and the Pac 12 certainly has a good one between Oregon and UCLA. If the Bruins had beaten Stanford on the Farm it would have been a Top 10 matchup in Eugene this weekend. As it stands it should still be a great game and UCLA will do their best to keep Oregon at bay.

ESPN’s Pregame Show has decided that the game warrants some attention as they return to the area. The Bruins are led by Quarterback Brett Hundley who wasn’t his usual self against the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday throwing for 192 yards and two interceptions. The Bruins also have somewhat more of a ground game than Washington State, who rushed for a total of 2 net yards on Saturday. Yes, you read that correct. 2.

Oregon on the other hand is on a roll with Gameday coming to town. They took care of business last night against a fiesty Washington State team who made it interesting late in the first half, but the Ducks took them out of the game in the second half winning handily 62-38. The Oregon Reserves gave up a pair of touchdowns late in the game.

For many next Saturday will be a very early wake up call and a long football Saturday, but it’s Gameday and many would not have it any other way.
