Multiple media outlets are that Oregon Ducks Running Back De’Anthony Thomas is set to return to the field on Saturday after suffering an ankle injury vs the Cal Bears on September 28th. It was first reported by Rob Moseley in a tweet shortly after the Washington State game that Thomas would be back on Saturday when #12 UCLA comes to town.
Even though he has not been on the field in every game since the ankle injury he played the part of cheerleader on the sidelines helping teammates in anyway he could.
“I’m ready,” he said. “I’m hungry and ready to get back on the field.”

Thomas has rushed for 338 yards and 6 touchdowns this season. He is also averaging just ove 23 yards on kickoff returns, which is what he was doing when he injured his ankle on the opening play against the California Golden Bears.7
Oregon hosts #12 UCLA on Saturday at 4pm PT in a Nationally televised game on ESPN. The Oregon Ducks will also host ESPN Gameday this week from the Quad on the Oregon Campus. The pregame show begins at 7am PT on ESPN.
