It was announced late yesterday that the Oregon Ducks next game at Arizona will be a day game. It will be played on ABC locally in Eugene and on ESPN2 for those outside of the Coverage area. The Ducks are coming off a 44-14 victory over Utah at Autzen Stadium this past weekend. One key area of concern in the game, even though it was a win is the health of Marcus Mariota and his ailing knee.

In the postgame press conference Mariota  said he may be near 100 percent and he is getting treatment twice a day on his sprained MCL. During the Utah game he did not run with much effectiveness north to south as he has done so many times this season, but attacked the Utes Defense with his legs and the passing game. It is not known if this was because of Utah’s coverage or his hesitation. We will have to wait and see the Oregon Duck’ approach this week at Arizona.

On the other side of the ball the Wildcats lost a close contest to Washington State this past weekend. The Cougars Quarterback Connor Halliday aired it out for 319 yards and two touchdowns including a tie breaking 25 yard pass to Isaiah Myers to seal the victory. Wildcat Running Back Ka’Deem Carey had 132 yards on the day in the loss. He is Arizona’s Offensive weapon to watch this week against the Ducks in my opinion. He led the FBS in rushing last year with just under 1300 yards and he has 100 or more yards on the ground in every game he has play in, this season.

Oregon travels to Arizona on Saturday, again kickoff set for 12:30pm PT on ABC/ESPN2.
