The game today should see Oregon feeling right at home in Tucson, at least from the weather perspective. It’s forecast to be in the Mid 50s and raining. With that in mind there could be some opportunity for turnovers with a slippery football or two, or a bad handoff. What do I expect from today’s game? Considering it is Senior Day at Arizona – there are 17 graduating Seniors – The Wildcats will give their best shot to the Ducks. One man stands out in my mind as being a weapon for the Wildcats and that is where we begin, with Running Back Ka’Deem Carey.

Carey Will Push His Consecutive Game 100+ Yard Game Streak to 14

This is somewhat of a no brainer. He will also likely put some points on the board. Carey has been a workhorse on the ground for Arizona over the last two seasons and has proven he can be durable. That should help him considerably at the next level. Of course we don’t know yet what his plans are for the offseason. Carey is a Junior and could return for his Senior season.

Oregon’s Weapons on Offense Will Wear Down The Wildcats

Going into the game everyone is available for the Oregon Offense and the Ducks should ultimately prove too much for Arizona. De’Anthony Thomas has returned to his former self from before the Cal game and showed it last week with a kickoff return for a touchdown. Again one factor to watch is the weather, it can sometimes do funny things as we know from the Cal game earlier this season at Autzen.

The Oregon Defense Will Get An Interception for a Score

Arizona is led on Offense by Senior Quarterback B..J. Denker who has thrown for just under 2000 yards with 12 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Oregon’s Defense has been solid all season and I see the Ducks D getting at least one pick in this game. Considering Oregon’s Offense, which will put points on the board, Arizona will be forced to put the ball in the air.

Oregon and Arizona take the field at 12:30 PT on ABC or ESPN2.
