Coming off of a five game winning streak is good. Having the chance for your season to continue is great. The Ducks also re-entered the AVCA Coaches Poll this week at #25. Late Sunday the Ducks found out they will be heading to Nebraska for the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Liz Brenner and company will take on Miami on Friday afternoon. The other teams in the pod of four include 8th seeded Nebraska and Fairfield.

The Ducks have never faced Miami(19-11, 12-8). The Hurricanes finished fourth in the ACC this season. Oregon is among eight Pac 12 teams to make this year’s tournament. The surroundings should be familiar to Oregon since they played there last season(in Omaha) en route to the National Championship with Texas.

This marks the 11th overall appearance for Oregon in the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament. If they take care of business on Friday against Miami they will take on either Fairfield or Nebraska on Saturday for the opportunity to advance.

The game tips off at 2:30pm PT on Friday afternoon.
