Oregon was down early 4-0 to Morgan State, but that did not last long. The Ducks, led by Joseph Young and his 24  points allowed the Bears to hang around through the first half and were able to pull away in the 2nd half. In the first half both teams were playing solid defense, but the Ducks did it better in the second half. Dana Altman’s team was better in ever facet of the game including rebounds, free throws and three pointers. Oregon won 97-76.

Morgan State was led by Justin Black who scored over 20 points in the game. Rebounding, which was a concern going into the season has not been for Oregon. Today’s game was no exception. The Ducks were paced by Mike Moser on the boards, followed by Dominic Artis. Every player on the roster for the Ducks had at least one rebound in the game.

"Offensively, about where I thought we be. On the boards, we’ve gotta get a little more physical there. Defensively..I thought we would be further along.Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman on the team’s overall look heading into Pac 12 Play next week."

For the game Oregon shot over 55 percent on Field Goals and were close to 50 percent from three point range while holding Morgan State to just over 40 percent from the floor. The Ducks now enter the Pac 12 part of the season after going undefeated in non conference play.
