Oregon Women Fall to Oregon State in Civil War 88-80, Alleyne Scores 26

The Oregon Women’s Basketball team, now 9-5 on the season are still looking for their first Pac-12 Conference win in 2013-14. The Ducks are now 0-3 after falling to the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday. Jillian Alleyne, who has been a sparkplug all season for Oregon had another solid night netting her 12th double double of the season. The Sophomore also pulled down 12 rebounds. Her teammate Chrishae Rowe had 19 points on the night.

Oregon State won for the sixth straight time in the series. As a team the Ducks shot just under 38 percent for the game, but were off from three point range landing only 3 of the 17 shots made on the night. The Beavers on the other hand shot at 56 percent from the field in the second half and close to 48 percent for the game.

The two teams meet again on Monday for Round Two of the Civil War in Corvallis.(7pm, Pac 12 Networks). The game will be the 92nd game in the Series between the Ducks and Beavers.
