The Oregon Basketball team may be on a four game losing streak, but that did not stop some positive publicity. Twenty Five players were named to the Midseason Wooden Award Finalist list released on Wednesday and there was an Oregon Duck among them. Transfer Joseph Young who leads the team with 18 points per game and is also 5th in the Pac-12 in scoring is under consideration for the honor. Before the current streak he helped Oregon to a 13-0 start to the 2013-14 season.

In his two seasons with Houston prior to joining Oregon he was a prolific scorer. He as put up 1,222 points and averages 15.4 points per game in his career. The Junior also has hit over 40 percent of his shots from three point range. The team is in the middle of a three game road trip and continue to struggle on Defense, and more recently on Offense vs Oregon State on Sunday.

Several other players from the Pac-12 Conference made the list including Aaron Gordon(Arizona), Nick Johnson(Arizona) and Kyle Anderson(UCLA). Just because a player is not on the Mid season list does not mean if they get on a hot streak that they will not have a chance to win it.

Oregon faces the Washington schools on the road this week. Oregon and Washington tip off on Thursday(8pm, Fox Sports 1) and visit Washington State on Sunday(4pm, Pac-12 Networks)
