The Oregon Men’s Basketball(15-8, 3-8 Pac-12) team did not get off to a good start on Saturday against Arizona State. The first half included a lot of missed shots by the Ducks. Dana Altman’s club has played a lot of close games this year where they had opportunities and were given chances. This game would follow the same narrative. After being down by 20 at halftime, the Ducks would fight back to tie the game with just over 10 minutes left.

In the end it came down to a final shot that was blocked by an Arizona State defender. Oregon loses another game this season where they had the final possession to tie or win the game. Arizona State sweeps Oregon State and Oregon over the weekend. The Ducks now return home to face Oregon State in the Civil War next Sunday February 16th(12pm PT, Fox Sports 1) at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks will look to even the season series between their in state rival. The Beavers beat the Ducks in Corvallis last month.

Oregon Transfer Joseph Young has found his game. For the game against the Sundevils he had 29 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

To add to the misery of losing the game vs Arizona State the Ducks flight home was cancelled due to weather.
