The Oregon Women’s Basketball team does not have a problem on Offense, but a problem on Defense. After coming back from a 13 point deficit with about five minutes left in the game the Ducks were unable to hold a lead and fell to USC on a night that was more about the game. Oregon wore white uniforms trimmed with pink in the Play For Kay event, to raise money for the Kay Wow fund for Cancer ressearch.

In the first few minutes of the game the Ducks had a 6-2 lead when part of the lights went out at Matthew Knight Arena making it a more intimate affair for just a few minutes for those in attendance at Matthew Knight Arena. Sophomore Jillian Alleyne who saw her double double streak snapped in Monday’s loss to Colorado started a new streak with a strong game against the Trojans. She had 19 points and 24 rebounds giving her 18 double doubles on the season. Freshman Chrishae Rowe led Oregon in scoring with 28 points.

The team returns to action on Monday afternoon against UCLA(4pm PT, Pac-12 Networks) before hitting the road for the final time in the regular season next week vs Washington and Washington State. Oregon then closes out the regular season with a home series with the Arizona schools before playing in the Pac-12 Tournament in Seattle.
