Fans of the Oregon Basketball team were excited in the offseason when the team announced UNLV Transfer Mike Moser was coming to the Ducks. It has been a season of disappointment, specifically the first half of the Pac-12 Conference season for Moser. Over the last few games he has again found his game and managed solid minutes and pints. Last night, when the Ducks needed the big man to come through he did in a big way with twenty points and four rebounds. The bigger story on the evening in the win over the Washington Huskies was Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman’s milestone win.

Thursday night’s game was the five hundredth win for Altman giving the Oregon Ducks a two game winning streak and a much needed Pac-12 win in front of a national audience on ESPN2. Offensively Oregon shot the lights out at 56.9 percent. The Ducks also had a solid defensive effort against the Huskies as Guard Jason Calliste helped to hold Washington Guard C.J. Wilcox to a nine point night. There was another milestone on Thursday – Oregon Senior Johnathan Loyd made some history of his own.

Against Oregon State last weekend Loyd tied former Oregon Guard E.J. Singler for most victories in a Duck uniform in the Civil War. Against the Huskies, he broke it and now has 90 wins in an Oregon uniform. The Ducks will look to continue their winning streak this weekend when they host Washington State(Saturday, 6pm PT, Pac-12 Networks).
