In a game that had a torrid pace throughout Oregon could not find a way with two of the Pac-12 Conference’s top scorers to keep pace with the Washington Huskies on Friday night. Oregon Guard Jillian Alleyne posted her 22nd double double of the season in the loss that brought the Oregon Ducks to 13-13 on the season and 4-11 in Pac-12 play with the 108-100 loss to the Huskies. Alleyne officially had her double double in the first half with 11 points and 15 rebounds at the break. She added another 15 points and 19 points in the second half.. Katelyn Loper had 24 for Paul Westhead’s team that had no answers on defense when they needed them.

Washington Guard Kelsey Plum led the Huskies with a career high 38 points in the win.

Oregon shot 43 percent from the floor, but the Huskies were better free throw shooters hitting 31-39 and are the hot team. Washington has won six of their last seven games. The Ducks now head to Washington State to take on the Cougars, who have a similar record at 14-13(8-7 Pac-12). Following Sunday’s game the Ducks return home to wrap up the regular season with Arizona State and Arizona before heading to the Pac-12 Tournament in Seattle.
