It has been over a month since the Oregon Ducks Football team has began practice for the 2014 season, the first season with a College Football Playoff which has a lot of fans excited. We are now at Saturday May 3rd and some of the questions surrounding this year’s team have been answered, some will be answered today and some will wait until Fall. What we will see today at Autzen Stadium is a blueprint of sorts – the foundation for the 2014 Oregon Ducks. Here’s what we know. Quarterback Marcus Mariota is back along with Center Hroniss Grasu. The Defensive Backfield is under the charge of Ifo Ekpre- Olomu and we will probably see the start of a quarterback battle on Saturday, albeit a very important one. The Backup Quarterback for the Oregon Ducks.
We will have a Live Twitter Feed starting at 10am, one hour before kickoff and will also have it running througout the game. It will also be available via @KPNWSports and also on Eugene Daily News. Following the Oregon Ducks Football Spring Game, we will move over to PK Park for Live Twitter Coverage of Oregon Baseball vs Arizona – gametime is 3pm.
It’s a full day of Oregon Athletics, of course I forgot to mention Oregon Softball in Game 2 vs Arizona State at 5pm at Howe Field. If your stuck in the office or are watching the game at home and want to chat or follow along with us, we welcome it. If your at Autzen I hope you brought sunscreen. It’s going to be a nice day for Football and Baseball.
