The Oregon Ducks Baseball team has again picked a good time to get hot. Following a 14-8 win over Pacific at home last Tuesday, Head Coach George Horton has managed  three straight wins including a 1-0 win at UCLA on Friday and a 4-1 victory on Saturday night. This season there have been many milestones for Horton, including two hundred wins at Oregon and seven hundred wins as a Division I Coach to name a few., but the spotlight now moves to one of his Starting Pitchers.

The Oregon Starter on Saturday, Jeff Gold threw a stellar six innings allowing just one run and earning his 23rd win of his career as an Oregon Ducks player, tying him with Alex Keudell(2009-2012) for the most wins in Oregon Baseball history. If everything aligns correctly, the Saturday starter will have his run at history this upcoming weekend in front of the home crowd at PK Park in the regular season series finale against Cal.

Oregon was paced on Offense by Kyle Garlick, who went two for four with two RBI’s and Tyler Baumgartner going two for five with a run scored and an RBI. The Oregon Ducks wrap up the series with UCLA on Sunday at Noon.(Pac-12 Networks)
