Oregon Softball hosts Utah Valley at Howe Field. KPNWSports

The Oregon Ducks Softball team took care of business yesterday against the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Softball Regional Round at Howe Field. On Friday the Ducks beat Utah Valley and other action in the Regional on Saturday saw both Albany and Utah Valley eliminated from the round of four in Eugene, leaving Big 10 team Wisconsin and Pac-12 team Oregon to settle the score for who moves on to the Round of 16, also known as the Super Regional Round next weekend.

The decider will be played on Sunday, however due to weather concerns the game will be moved back to 11am PT. If the Oregon Ducks win the game they will win the ‘Eugene Regional Championship’ and not only move on, but also host the Super Regional next weekend at Howe Field. The hosting honor goes to the highest ranked team and since the Oregon Ducks are the top team in the nation, they will host.

If the Wisconsin Badgers win the game, there will be a second game in the double elimination tournament, currently slated for 1:30 PT. The game will be carried live on the Pac-12 Networks starting at 11am PT.
