NCAA Track and Field Championships Day Three Report

The Oregon Ducks enter the third day of competition at the NCAA Track and Field Championships leading the race for a National Title for both the Men’s and Women’s teams respectively. Friday is about building that lead, both teams lead by under twenty points and the home team can take a big step toward National Titles today.

On Thursday the Oregon Men received a boost from Oregon Ducks Junior Dakotah Keys third place finish in the Decathalon, and the Women rebounded from their opening day baton error with Senior Laura Bobek’s record setting toss in the discus.Friday features the conclusion of the Decathalon and several important finals for the Oregon Ducks. Senior Laura Roesler will look to take the 800 meter National Title, and Jenna Prandini will run for the Title in the 100 meters. On the Men’s side, 10,000 Meter Champion Edward Cheserek will contend in the 5,000 meter race along with Trevor Dunbar and Parker Stinson.
