The Oregon Ducks received some good news on Tuesday. Following a weekend of Offensive Line Recruits committing to play for the team, Mark Helfrich received word that 4-star Wide Receiver Alex Ofodile committed to play for Oregon. Ofodile brings height at six foot three and one hundred eighty five pounds into the program at a transition year for part of the offense in 2015. Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota will likely depart for the NFL following the upcoming 2014 season, and Oregon has already reached out to a possible replacement in offering a scholarship to California Quarterback Travis Waller over the weekend.

Alex Ofodile is from Colombus, Missouri and according to 247Sports runs a 4.5 forty yard dash. He committed to play for Oregon just four days after his visit to the University of Oregon campus. If the Oregon Ducks can also get Waller, the team would be in good shape at both positions for the next few years. ESPN.com has Odofile as a Top 5 Wide Receiver and the highest rated incoming recruit for the Oregon Ducks in 2015.

The Offense appears to be in good hands with Odofile, and Running Back Commit Taj Griffin, along with Wide Receiver Jake Breeland.

Oregon will kick off the 2014 Regular Season in just over two months as they welcome South Dakota to Autzen Stadium on Saturday, August 30th(7:30pm PT). The Oregon Ducks start Fall Camp on August 4th.
