The Pac-12 Conference and Big Ten Conference will be hosting their respective media days in the coming weeks with players and coaches talking about the upcoming season similar to the SEC which is holding their Media Days as we speak. One person who is not afraid to share his opinion is Tom Dienhart from the Big Ten Network, who recently released his look at the Top 50 Games for the Big Ten Conference this season. There is no real surprise on the list, but at number two he has the Michigan State game against the Oregon Ducks on September sixth. Going in we know this is an important game for both teams as it will likely vault the winner closer to a top four ranking early in the season.

Several other matchups on his Top 50 List feature Pac-12 teams in ‘Rose Bowlesque’ matchups including the Cal Bears visiting Northwestern on August 30th at number thirty one, and Illinois at Washington at number forty nine on the list. Just three Pac-12/Big 10 Matchups for the upcoming season that could be key to who plays for a National Title. The game will put Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota with Michigan State Quarterback Connor Cook, who also won the Rose Bowl over Stanford to end the 2013 season.

Michigan State begins their season on Saturday August 30th hosting Jacksonville State at Spartan Stadium before heading west to take on Oregon at Autzen Stadium on the following weekend, Saturday September 6th. Oregon begins the 2014 campaign hosting South Dakota on the 30th at 7:30pm PT. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
