The 2014 College Football season is less than a month away and with Fall Camp starting today for the Oregon Ducks, ESPN Writers and Editors broke down an interesting list based on an individual student athletes achievement for their respective team and that team having a successful season. Every Conference has a list of athletes. The Pac-12 Conference also has a list of highly touted athletes, including the top pick for the Oregon Ducks, LaMichael James, who now plays for the San Francisco 49ers.

Oregon also had some ‘honorable’ mention picks including Quarterbacks Joey Harrington and Dennis Dixon. One name that did not make the list was De’Anthony Thomas, now with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2010 LaMichael James has twenty four touchdowns and one thousand nine hundred and thirty nine yards.  All twelve schools from the Conference were represented and the only school with a more recent individual was Arizona with Running Back Ka’Deem Carey from his 2012 season. Every other individual was before 2010, some going back to the sixties and seventies with a few eighties sprinkled in for good measure.

Fall Camp for the 2014 Oregon Ducks begins on Monday, August 4th. The first game of the 2014 season is on Saturday, August 30th when Oregon hosts South Dakota at 7:30pm Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
