ESPN Top 25 Power Rankings: Oregon Ducks Slated Fourth
Many of the preseason polls that matter are in the process of being released as we are now less than three weeks from the official kickoff of the College Football season. The USA Today poll, already released has the Oregon Ducks fourth. The ESPN Power Rankings, released on Monday have also slated the Oregon Ducks fourth behind Oklahoma, Alabama and Florida State respectively. There is one thing I find interesting in each poll and that is Pac-12 Powerhouse Stanford(this season) has been ranked behind the UCLA Bruins in the polls, in some cases rather considerably behind.

In the ESPN Power Rankings the Bruins also hold a lead over the Stanford Cardinal. UCLA is slated eighth and the Cardinal tenth. ESPN also slotted the Michigan State Spartans in the top ten at number seven. The Spartans/Ducks matchup is one of the more anticipated matchups of the entire season. Several other Pac-12 teams also made the list including USC at fourteen and the Washington Huskies at twenty. In the Big Ten Conference the favorite Ohio State enters the season ranked fifth in the ESPN Top 25 Power Poll.
