Oregon Women Break One-Hundred Point Mark in Win over Utah State

The Oregon Women’s Basketball team jumped out to an early lead against Utah State and never looked back. The Kelly Graves Era at Oregon started on a good note in a game where Katelyn Loper hit a three point barrage helping the Ducks hit their first thirteen shots. Jillian Alleyne added twenty points in the win. For the game Oregon shot fifty-four percent from the floor and fifty three percent from three point range.

Katelyn Loper led the Oregon Ducks in scoring netting thirty-three points and hitting eight of her twelve shots from beyond the three point line. Alleyne picked up where she left off last season picking up her forty-second double double of her career as and Oregon Duck, she finished with twenty points and twelve rebounds against the Aggies on Saturday afternoon at Matthew Knight Arena.

The Oregon Ducks now prep for what could be a team ranked near or in the Top ten in the country next Sunday as North Carolina comes to Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. UNC has two games before their games against Oregon. The Tar Heels host UCLA and Oklahoma State, both ranked in the Top 25, the Bruins are 23rd, OSU is 21st.

Oregon and UNC take the court next Sunday at 3pm Pacific Time.
