The 2014 Regular Season still has a few weeks to go in the National Football League, but ESPN’s NFL Draft Board Guru’s are already starting the conversation for the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft. I know it’s early and there is still College Football to play but Todd McShay has made a decision on the first overall pick.

Oregon Ducks Quarterback, according to McShay, is set to go number one in the upcoming NFL Draft. Where will he play? Tampa, Florida – for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’m sure this is a dream that Bucs Head Coach Lovie Smith would love to come to fruition. On Monday Mariota was on the Late Show with David Letterman following his Heisman Trophy win and mocked the New York teams in the Top Ten List he presented saying, “I want to play in the NFL, Does New York have any Professional Sports Teams”.

Of course, the Jets would also love to have the services of Mariota.

Of the Oregon Ducks QB McShay says, “Mariota is a dynamic athlete with excellent top-end speed. He is elite at throwing on the run. He has a quick and compact over-the-shoulder release, and he possesses excellent intangibles.” Tampa is currently 2-12 on the season and is looking to take the number one overall pick in the Draft.

Mariota has yet to make a decision on his future stating last month that he will wait until the College Football season is over and will discuss it with family. He talked, while in New York last week with Dan Patrick and said that Graduate School was one of the reasons to stay for his Senior Year with Oregon.

He returned on Tuesday morning and was at practice as Oregon prepares for the College Football Semifinal game on New Years Day against Jameis Winston and Florida State at the Rose Bowl(2pm PT, ESPN.)
