After a full season of college football only two teams are still standing and by the end of the night there will be only one. In the first season of a true College Football Playoff the Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes will be playing in their fifteenth game of the year and both have had injuries to deal with throughout the season.

Ohio State lost Quarterback Braxton Miller for the season before it began and Oregon had numerous injuries to deal with throughout the year including many on the Offensive Line. Wide Receiver Bralon Addison was lost for the season before it even started for Oregon, and the Ducks have adjusted. Mark Helfrich has a hybrid in Running Back/Wide Receiver Byron Marshall who can play both positions. Addison was in full gear and ready to go, it appeared in the Rose Bowl last weekend against Florida State, but he did not see the field.

The Oregon Ducks are led by Quarterback Marcus Mariota who has had a phenomenal season at the helm. He has thrown for forty touchdowns and has scored fifteen times with his feet. Oregon also has another threat on the ground in thousand yard rusher Royce Freeman who is just thirty one yards away from setting a True Freshman record for rushing in the Pac-12 Conference.

It’s the Pac-12 vs the Big Ten for the National Championship of College Football. This will be the ninth meeting betwen the Buckeyes and Ducks with the team from Ohio having the upper hand the last eight meetings.
