In the circle, Hawkins has been touched up of late, but solid enough to buckle down and pick up victories. Her ERA of 1.18 leads the Pac-12 and is good enough for eighth in the country. She is 25-3 on the season for the top ranked Oregon Ducks and will enter the final week of the regular season on the road at Arizona.

The Player of the Year candidate field will be narrowed down to three finalists on May 20th with the winner being announced on May 26th. Allexis Bennett from UCLA joins Hawkins as the other representative from the Pac-12 Conference nominated for the award.

The Ducks will look to lock up the Pac-12 this weekend and advance to the NCAA Tournament next weekend likely hosting the first round in the final season of Howe Field before it is revamped for next season.

The three game series with the Arizona Wildcats begins on Thursday(7pm PT), continues on Friday(4pm PT, and concludes on Sunday at 8:30pm on ESPNU.
