Similar to the Amway Coaches Poll, the Oregon Ducks also

stand pat in this weeks Associated Press poll.

Oregon defeated Eastern Washington on Saturday and held onto their number five position. The team they face this week, Michigan State also holds onto their number seven position after defeating Eastern Michigan.

The top spot is still with Ohio State who received all sixty-one first place votes after defeating Virginia Tech on Monday night . Alabama follows in second place and TCU, dropped to third, similar to the Coaches poll. The breakdown is interesting in that there are more teams from the SEC with ten in this week’s Top 25 poll. The Pac-12 Conference came in second with five ranked teams.

The rest of the Pac-12 saw USC at number eight, and UCLA at thirteen and Arizona all holding in the same spots as last week. Utah, following their win against Michigan enters the poll at twenty-four. The Utes have some big games upcoming on their schedule.

I expect some of these teams, at least in the Pac-12 to reshuffle over the next few weeks. Starting next week Stanford visits USC. The following week Utah visits the Oregon Ducks. This week, the Oregon Ducks visit Michigan State for a Big Ten/Pac-12 Matchup in the Game of the Week(5pm Pacific Time, ABC)
